1. Who is your favorite KiptonART artist? Why?
Willow Bader. I have to confess that it is because I am addicted to tango and the images are so evocative of Buenos Aires and of the dance.
2. What was the last exhibition you saw?
Francis Alys, at the Tate Modern in London.
3. How would you describe the décor in your home?
Full of classic modern furniture and contemporary art. Mostly prints from Tamarind, of course.
4. What artist has most influenced or inspired you in life?
Martin Puryear
5. What do you find to be special and distinctive about the art culture in New Mexico?
Venues for good contemporary art are not as plentiful in New Mexico as the artists. Site Santa Fe is a gift to our state, bringing outstanding – and by that I mean interesting and sometimes challenging – work from around the globe.
